The Town of Swayzee was awarded a $90,000 Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) grant to perform a study of our utility infrastructure which includes Water, Wastewater and Stormwater. The study will be a 20-year action plan to update/upgrade the towns utility infrastructure. As part of the study, we will look at the current demographics and outline goals for the growth of the town which will assist us in forecasting what needs to be done and when. The Town of Swayzee would like to invite you to be part of a steering committee so we can be sure we are meeting and exceeding the needs of our community. The committee will meet approximately two times per month, in the evening, with the first meeting taking place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 3rd, in the Town Hall. This will be a Kick-Off meeting which will last approximately 1 hour. Future meetings are anticipated to last an hour and half with the schedule for future meetings being agreed to and set at each current meeting. Please feel free to reach out to Eric Woodmansee via phone: 765.623.5802 or email [email protected] with any questions.

We hope you can join us for our 13th annual Swayzee Days Festival, as we celebrate local, small-town family-friendly living! This year, we are honoring our Swayzee First Responders and their service to our community with a 5K, memorial services throughout the day, as well as a special 9/11 ceremony as we remember the 20th anniversary.
